《Show Boat》的介紹終於來到了最終篇，
前陣子太多事情在身上，竟然隔了三個禮拜才能來完結它，
不過我還會另寫一篇來作個總結並說說自己的感想，
整理這些資料真花了我不少的時間，說實在我還滿享受的啦，
但我想只有真正對音樂劇有高度熱情的人，才會認真看我的這些整理吧！
會這麼用心，目的主要還是為了我自己。
音樂劇《Show Boat》的角色人物：
*Andy Hawks：演藝船的船長
*Parthy Ann Hawks：Andy船長的妻子
*Magnolia Hawks (Nola)：船長夫婦的女兒
*Gaylord Revenal：職業賭徒，很會唱歌，後來與Nola結婚
*Kim Revenal：Gaylord和Nola的女兒
*Steve Baker：演藝船上的著名男主演
*Julie LaVerne：演藝船上的著名女主演，Steve的妻子，有黑人血統
*Frank Schultz：演藝船上的演員
*Ellie May Chipley：演藝船上的演員，後來成為Frank的妻子
*Pete：演藝船上的技師
*Joe：上了演藝船的碼頭工人，黑人
*Queenie：演藝船的廚師，Joe的妻子，黑人
※前情提要：
Steve和Julie這對夫婦本是演藝船上的男女主演，
卻遭小人Pete陷害，被迫離開演藝船，
Andy船長決定讓他女兒Nola和女兒的戀人Gaylord擔起主演的角色，
最後獲得了觀眾廣大的回響，也吸引了更多來自各地方的人們前來觀賞，
另一方面，Ellie這位喜劇演員其實並不想一直扮演丑角，
Frank則因Gaylord的迅速走紅，有些心理不平衡，
長期與Ellie搭檔的他，且向Ellie表達他想要娶她，
而Nola和Gaylord則因著Andy的支持，不顧Parthy的反對，在眾人的祝福下結婚了。
之後，Nola生了女兒Kim，Gaylord帶著他們離開了演藝船，到了Chicago，
但嗜賭的Gaylord後來輸光了錢，傾家蕩產，
借不到錢、繳不起房租後，他便選擇悄悄地離開了Nola和Kim，
這時Frank和Ellie正好來到Chicago找房子，並遇見了Nola，
他們知道了Nola的情況後，決定幫助他，
Frank帶他去了家劇院試鏡，而那裏其實是Julie工作的地方，
Julie因著Steve的離去過著失意酗酒的日子，當她發現Nola來尋求工作機會，
她便決定離開劇院，將職缺留給Nola，Nola試鏡後也得到了老闆的賞識。
於是，劇院的跨年晚會開始了......
26.〈Goodbye, My Lady Love〉by Frank & Ellie
來到了Trocadero劇院跨年晚會表演的第三個節目，
由Frank和Ellie又唱又跳地詼諧演出。
此曲與下一曲，是全劇中唯二不是Kern和Hammerstein II自己創作的曲子，
這一首詞曲皆由Joseph E. Howard於1904年所創作，在當時風行一時，
而此曲中段的舞曲是Kerry Mills於1897年所創作的〈At a Georgia Camp Meeting〉。

27.〈After the Ball〉by Magnolia
接著，就是Nola的節目了！
劇院老闆先向觀眾說明Julie無法演出，
但有Magnolia為大家帶來一首討喜的老歌，
一開始沒信心的她，不斷被觀眾唏噓，
但當她看到老爸Andy在台下為她加油、提醒她要微笑，
她便越唱越好，並得到了觀眾的肯定。
這一首的詞曲則是由Charles K. Harris於1891年所創作。

Joe白髮蒼蒼，而依然老神在在地唱著〈Ol' Man River〉。

29.〈Hey, Feller!〉by Queenie & 合唱團
此段也是與劇情相對抽離的一段，
目的應是為了場景的轉換，
因此在許多的複排版裡面並沒有這一段，
Queenie年紀更大了，也更有智慧與經驗了，
她熱情地在眾人前引吭高歌，教導大家怎樣擄獲男人的心。

Andy接待了他，而他正在思念著Nola。

1927年的Cotton Blossom已經變得很不一樣，船上有著現代化的電燈，
背景中還有廣播塔與水上飛機，
但一樣的是人們熱鬧地聚集，要去船上看表演。

32.〈It's Getting Hotter in the North〉by Kim & 合唱團
Nola的女兒Kim長大了，她已經成為了很棒的歌唱演員，
在這場船上的表演中擔任主唱，台上的大夥兒賣力地跳著舞，
Frank、Ellie與Andy下台後，Frank和Ellie向船長表示要先行離開，
他們要去California在好萊塢開展接下來的人生，
表演結束後，人群開始散場下船，
Gaylord走了出來，到了Andy身邊，
Andy一邊和散場的觀眾問安，一邊問候Gaylord，希望他能和Nola重逢，
突然Nola走了來，並看到了Gaylord，
他們一家人終於重逢了。

時間尚未來到1927年，在之前的跨年晚會結束後，Nola聲名大噪，
而Gaylord其實一直默默地在關心著有關Nola的一切報導，
直到1927年，媒體報導Nola要退休了，而她的女兒Kim將跟隨其腳步，
於是，Kim在百老匯也開始了許多表演，
Gaylord則常偷偷跑去看Kim的排練及演出，
在一次演出中，Nola遇見了Gaylord，並邀他一起看Kim表演，
演出到了尾聲，Gaylord表示他還沒預備好回到Nola身邊，於是離開了，
這時舞台上的Kim，將Nola介紹出來，並邀她唱〈You Are Love〉，
而Gaylord聽到了歌聲，便走回來與Nola一同輕唱，
Nola聽到了Gaylord的歌聲，便向觀眾將Gaylord介紹了出來，
他們一同將〈You Are Love〉唱完，Kim感動地哭了，他們終於團聚了！
